It started with a family business and a pile of receipts nobody wanted to touch. That was over 15 years ago. Carmina Adame took over the books, and somewhere in the middle of sorting out that mess, she found three things she genuinely loved:

Working with numbers and genuinely enjoying it
As she gained experience across diverse industries, Carmina realized how powerful clear, accurate bookkeeping could be for small business owners who are experts in their craft but often lack the proactive financial support needed to confidently manage and grow their businesses.
A pivotal moment came while working with a small transportation company. Carmina had the opportunity to implement QuickBooks Online, clean up and organize their financial records, and streamline internal processes. During meetings, the company’s business attorney started calling her “Numbers” because she was always ready with clear financial reports, accurate figures, and actionable insights.
That nickname stuck, and it ultimately inspired the company name. That experience cemented the core mission of ClearNumbers: to build a relationship-driven financial partnership that transforms complex data into meaningful, easy-to-understand information. ClearNumbers was built with a simple goal: helping business owners make sense of their numbers so they can stress less about finances and focus on building the business they envisioned.
